Abstract
Women's employment is one of the most important aspects of economic and social growth in contemporary societies. In recent decades, attention to the role of women in the labor market has increased significantly and it is recognized that their active participation can help improve productivity, economic growth, and reduce social inequalities. Despite advances in women's rights and job opportunities, there are still various challenges and obstacles such as gender inequalities, cultural and economic constraints, and problems related to work-family balance. Addressing these issues and trying to promote women's employment is not only in the interests of women themselves but can also contribute to sustainable growth and increased quality of life at the community level. In this study, time series data related to the model were collected and the effect of women's employment on labor productivity in the provinces of Iran was examined using econometric methods and the Eviews software. The results of the study show that the share of women's employment in Iranian provinces has a positive and significant relationship with labor productivity in Iranian provinces, and also the variables of wages, women's education, and GDP growth have a positive and significant effect on labor productivity in Iranian provinces, and the inflation variable has a negative and significant effect on labor productivity in Iranian provinces; therefore, in order to improve human resource productivity in Iran, economic policymakers should create various measures to increase women's economic participation, along with improving women's education and reducing wage inequality and economic prosperity on agenda.
